Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Clank ("Clank", "we", "us") is a Discord application that generates images from text prompts. This policy explains what we collect when you use Clank, why, and your choices. It applies to the Clank bot and its website.

What we collect

We only collect what you hand to Clank by using it — we do not read your servers' general conversation.

How we use it

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else is involved

To run Clank we share the minimum necessary with:

Storage & retention

Data is stored on AWS in the United States. Prompts, generated images, and the per-server memory are retained for as long as Clank serves that server, so its memory persists. Generated images are hosted at non-guessable URLs to be shown in Discord.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your data or a server's data by contacting contact@clank.fyi. Removing Clank from a server stops new collection for that server. Discord-level data (your account) is managed in Discord.

Children

Clank is not directed to anyone under 13, and you must meet Discord's minimum age to use it.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
